Learning Hub – Capital Development Project Community Forum

Late last term the College announced to the community the approval of the Learning Hub development on the Marcellin Campus. The College will host a Community Forum facilitated by the College Architect, Bob Sly, Munns Sly Moore, to present the Learning Hub development and answer any question members of the community may have.

A webpage has also been created to address community questions and provide details about the project. This webpage covers broadly the topics to be covered at the community forum. to access the webpage.

 

Careers Breakfast

During Week 5, whilst ATAR students are doing their exams, the College will be running an alternate program for Years 11 and 12 General students. Part of this program is a question and answer session where we hope to connect Years聽 11 and 12 students with people involved in various fields of work. Below are some of the industries which will be on offer:

  • MACA mining
  • P&N bank (finance)
  • Williams Electrical
  • IT industry
  • Defence Force
  • Starting your own business
  • Personal trainer
  • Carpentry
  • Travel agent
  • Audio producer
  • Chef and hospitality industry

Students will self-allocate to a table, and over breakfast ask their 鈥渢able expert鈥 some prepared questions about their work.

Year 10 / 11 / 12 Careers Expo

On Monday 24 June, 秀秀直播 will be hosting the annual Careers Expo in the Marist Auditorium. Please note that it is expected that all Year 10-12 students will attend the Expo.

This event is a collection of approximately 20 education and training providers from various Universities, TAFE, apprenticeships, defence force etc.

Please see below for details of the Expo:

3.15pm to 4.30pm: Numerous Universities, TAFEs, training providers, and employers will be present. Year 11/12 students and parents strongly encouraged to attend this section.

5.00pm to 6.15pm: 秀秀直播 subject selection exhibition. Compulsory for Year 10 students to attend.

6.15pm to 7.00pm: Subject selection presentation and forms distributed. Compulsory for Year 10 students to attend.
