Drop Off and Pick Up
PK – Y2
Pre-Kindy and KindyÂ
In order to ensure your child feels safe and secure, and as a duty of care, parents must take their children into the classroom at the commencement and completion of each day.Â
When collecting your child, please ensure you:
- Are parked by 2.45pm
- Collect your child directly from the classroom
- Exit the carpark by 3.00pm if possible, to make space for other families
Please note, exit from the primary carpark is a left hand turn only.
Pre-Primary, Years 1 – 2
The children are starting to develop a sense of confidence and independence and so are welcome to come to school from 8.15am where they are encouraged to play with their friends in the playground. Staff members are on duty from 8.15am each day. Children are permitted to go into the classrooms before school when accompanied by an adult.
Parents are encouraged to use the drive-through system for drop off and pick up once they feel that their children are confident to do so. To ensure safety of the children, there is a staff member on duty at the end of each day to supervise the drive-through.
Years 3 – 6
Students may arrive at school no earlier than 8.15am, when the first staff member commences morning duty, or park and walk with their child to the classroom area.
At the end of the day, all students walk to the car park area and wait for parents to pick them up from the designated drive through/pick up area or the park/pick up area.
Those students using the public transport system will be accompanied by a teacher to the assembly point on Tuscany Way. They, along with the secondary students, will be supervised by teachers as they board the relevant bus.
