On the holidays I had the honour of touring New York City with our Arts students and staff. I also followed the Humanities Tour of Sydney and Canberra closely. Over and above the educational outcomes presented, every member of staff commented on the independence, communication skills, resilience and initiative the students develop very quickly to support the group they are travelling with. Our students certainly lived our as they embraced the challenges presented and celebrated new found friendships, new learning and new experiences.
